Trails - found on Facebook as “HorseTalesNTrails”- in
Magnetewan at the OCTRA educational training event for long distance. Dr. Art King joined the OCTRA Educational Team to intro- duce topics on health checks for your horse, using your stethoscope, camping and trailer safety tips, resources for horse health awareness including metabolic issues.
The trails were challenging but beautiful. What a great way to introduce how to ride long distance, camp with your horses and ensure best fitness and health monitor- ing for your horse. Sharing the knowledge of long dis- tance success was greatly appreciated by all attending the clinic. Enjoy the trails!

ing classes. The club also includes the use of mules and donkeys in their shows to accommodate the local riding community. During the visit, it was
easy to see the many volun- teers that help to make these incredible show days hap- pen, from the JHA members running the food booth, to those handing out prizes at the gate, or running the trac- tors to keep the arenas and pens harrowed and safe for all riders. What a wonderful community. During the CRHRA
visit, president of SOTC, Gary Nelson, shared that 90% of his club members are
