adapt to changing markets and market requirements over the years.
The Awards are supported by Ivace + i Internacional and, in a new development for this year, the accolades will be delivered at a gala event on Tuesday 25 February at the Museo Príncipe Felipe in Valencia’s Ciutat de les Artes i les Ciències (City of Arts and Sciences).
Cevisama will be bestowing recognitions on two different sets of professionals at the upcoming edition of the fair in Valencia. Distributor Awards seek to reward the professional development of distributors and wholesalers, whilst the prizes in the Best Stand Design and Stand Interior Competition, awarded by the Colegio de Diseñadores de Interior de la Comunitat Valenciana CDICV (Comunitat Valenciana College of Interior Designers), recognise Cevisama exhibitors’ efforts to create the best setting for showcasing their new products.
With the Distributor Awards, Cevisama aims to continue to recognise the hugely important work these operators do for ceramic tile and bathroom equipment retailers and buying groups, both internationally and in Spain. The awards aim to recognise and support ceramic tile and bathroom industry distributors’ excellence in the field of sales management as well as their ability to
MAPEI LAUNCHES NEW KERAQUICK S2 ADHESIVE
Mapei has introduced a new adhesive to its Keraquick series. New Keraquick S2 is a high-performance, deformable cementitious adhesive developed for the installation of ceramic, porcelain, moisture-stable natural stone and mosaic wall and floor tiles, internally and externally. The quick-setting formulation is ideal for heavily trafficked areas where a fast turn-around is essential; floor and wall tiles can be grouted after only two hours, and floors subjected to light foot traffic, and areas can be returned to full use after just 24 hours. The new adhesive also benefits from a very low VOC EMICODE: EC1 Plus certified formulation, for a safe installation.
New Keraquick S2 can be used to install tiles onto cement- based and suitably prepared calcium sulphate-based screeds, concrete, existing unglazed ceramic floor tiles, cement-based renders, gypsum plaster, plasterboard and tile backer boards. It can be applied to a maximum bed depth of 10mm and can be used alongside underfloor heating. The new adhesive is also suitable for the installation of insulating materials, including expanded and extruded polystyrene panels, gypsum boards, glass and rockwool, Eraclit, aerated concrete blocks and sound deadening panels.
Mapei’s Keraquick series includes fast-track adhesives to suit all tile types, locations and project demands. They are offered alongside a wide range of complementary products – from floor preparation to maintenance solutions, with expert advice on-hand from Mapei’s in-house technical team.

The Colegio de Diseñadores de Interior de la Comunitat Valenciana (CDICV), is partnering with Cevisama again this year as it stages the 2025 Best Stand Design and Stand Interior Competition. These awards, which recognise the effort that exhibitors invest in creating their exhibition spaces, assess a whole set of values including, most notably, ephemeral architecture and optimal short-term presentation of a product in a trade fair context.
These awards seek to highlight ingenuity, creativity and excellence in the design of exhibition spaces, acknowledging exhibitors’ and interior designers’ work through an assessment process that looks at several of its aspects, from the quality of the stand’s design to innovation in the use of materials and harmony between form and function. Every year the ceremony restates Cevisama’s and the CDICV’s commitment to promoting the ceramic tile sector’s growth and development both in Spain and in the international arena.
This award ceremony is also scheduled to take place on Tuesday 25 February, at 10.15 in the Hotel Cevisama lecture zone in Hall 3.
