I hope you’re keeping well, despite the slightly rocky start to the new year. For many workers across the UK, it’s been a return to remote working once again, as the country is urged to stay at home wherever possible. In fact, for many, working from home is here to stay as companies and employees have realised the benefits it brings.
With this situation becoming more permanent, many consumers are looking for ways to invest in their home and make it as comfortable as possible. As I type, I’m currently sat with a view of fresh snow across the garden. This winter has been a cold one and it’s likely that this has inspired many people to look at ways to warm up their living/working space. In this issue’s Underfloor Heating section, Steve Harris, from Wavin Hep2O, addresses underfloor heating myths and discusses the ways in which you can help your customers to warm up to the solution. We also have advice from Kerakoll when it comes to tiling over underfloor heating.
Elsewhere in this issue, we delve into the latest effect trends when it comes to Porcelain & Ceramic, and we’ve got expert comment on the subject of Waste & Sustainability. As usual, we have an industry expert in the hotseat answering our 10 Questions and we bring you all of the latest news and product updates from across the sector.
I hope enjoy the read! EDITOR’S VOICE
