TTS AWARDS 2020 2ND PLACE FUGABELLA- KERAKOLL
Taking up second place is Fugabella Color from Kerakoll. This new colour grout and sealant range has been designed by Piero Lissoni to contain 50 of the most relevant colours for modern interiors, from delicate neutrals and gentle pastels to rich, intense shades.
The grout is a resin-cement hybrid which is safe, simple to choose and easy to use. It is formulated with a new mix of pure, natural binders which have been hybridised with resin binders and other additives, giving them very low- VOC content, lower environmental impact than traditional cement or epoxy-resin grouts, and making them safer for people’s health.
It is suitable for use in a wide range of temperatures and environmental conditions, meaning that you can use the same grout for everything rather than having to choose one that fits the on-site conditions. You can mix the product to the consistency that suits you and the site.
The mix is light and easy to work with; it does not slide off the trowel and remains workable without changing consistency in the bucket, so you don’t need to add water which can lead to colour inconsistencies.
The rich, intense colours are due to the particles used in the grout. They maintain the depth of colour and don’t fade as resin-cement grout is not subject to salt and lime efflorescence.

What they said: “We would like to thank everyone that voted for Fugabella Color. We are delighted that the range came second in the Tomorrow’s Tile & Stone Awards. The product has been very well accepted by both tile fixers and retailers throughout the UK and we feel that the award is a recognition of this.” Filippo Iacconi, General Manager, Tilemaster Adhesives Ltd.
“Doesn’t slump in the joints, easy to clean and a brilliant range of colours.”
3RD PLACE CUBE - VISION DISPLAY
Hot on the heels in third place is CUBE by Vision Display. As an expert in tile and stone displays, Vision Display recognised there was demand for a flexible, built-in library tile display system that allows the customer to display their products in an organised way yet make maximum use of the floor space available. To fill this gap in the market, the company designed and developed a new display system which is simply called `CUBE’, to represent the simple way that this system works.
CUBE allows the customer to select from a series of individual display box sizes, which are designed to neatly stack on top of each other and are attached together when installed. This flexible system allows the customer to set the boxes to any height and width to suit their showroom floorspace. In future, possibly when tile sizes change or when a showroom re-vamp is required, the customer can simply reconfigure these boxes to suit the revised layout required.
CUBE incorporates removable internal vertical array assemblies, designed to display the tiles either end-on at 90° (which gives the maximum quantity of tiles to be displayed), or at a 45° angle, facing either left or right as chosen by the customer. Although the angled option shows slightly less tiles, the customer gets a better view of the product faces when viewing.
