NEW STYLISH RANGE OF HELMET MOUNTED SONIS

EAR DEFENDERS Continuing their strong commitment to safety innovation, JSP understand that Noise Induced Hearing Loss (NIHL) is one of the biggest Occupational Health problems facing us today.

To help the industry combat this issue, the JSP Research and Development team have designed a new range of SonisHelmet Mounted Ear Defenders, which peak at an unbeaten SNR of 36. Developed in partnership with a leading research facility in the field of acoustic engineering, this new range offers unique acoustic performance in an extensive range of industrial applications.

The Sonis Helmet Mounted range moves from the green Sonis 1 – SNR 26 for low level noise to the Sonis Compact 2 with slim cups offering SNR of 31 for substantial Industrial noise through to the market leading SNR of 36 for the red Sonis 3 to protect against extreme industrial noise.

This new Sonis range of Helmet Mounted Ear Defenders feature adjustable steel arms so the wearer can tilt and adjust the position of the cup to give an excellent fit to the ear. The force the helmet adaptor applies and the cushion surface area work together to provide optimum cushion pressure and comfort.

With 360o rotation onto the Helmet, the wearer can keep the ear defenders neatly parked onto the helmet when not in use but remaining in easy reach. The low profile cups allow for compatibility with other Personal Protective

SCOTT SAFETY INTRODUCES

THE PROTÉGÉ SG Scott Safety is pleased to introduce the Protégé SG, a versatile new reusable single gas monitor, which is configurable to detect 13 different gases.

The Protégé SG is a truly universal portable gas detector with advanced features, such as smart ‘plug and play’ sensors and a replaceable lithium battery that provides unlimited life. The swappable sensors are equipped with a smart sensor board that automatically recognises sensor type and updates the gas label on the LCD display while automatically downloading the necessary calibration parameters.

With an IP66/67 rating, global regulatory approvals, multiple languages accessible on the LCD, and internal data logging for up to 5,000 events, the Protégé SG provides industrial workers and first responders maximum flexibility to focus on the task at hand and not on their equipment.

The Protégé SG is the first in a new line of cost-effective, high-performance portable gas monitors being introduced. All Protégé devices will have a similar look, feel and user interface as well as standard features, such as smart ‘plug and play’ sensors and lithium/alkaline battery options that are interchangeable between monitors.
