The Powerheart® G5 defibrillator is the first AED to combine real-time rescuer cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) guidance, customised patient therapy and fast shock times. It has a rigorous self-checking regime to ensure that it will perform to expectations in an emergency and iCPR electrodes, which prompt effective chest compressions and depth, and variable escalating energy shock capacity. It literally talks a rescuer through the process and will never give a shock unless required.
