HEALTH & SAFETY EVENT PREPARING FOR CHANGE

We’ve got a sneak peak of what to expect at The Health & Safety Event, which returns to the NEC Birmingham from the 10-12 April 2018.

The Health & Safety Event offers an essential insight into the latest trends and developments affecting the UK H&S sector, including the challenges associated with a rapidly changing world of work and risk.

The show is completely free to attend and is co-located alongside The Fire Safety Event, The Facilities Event and MACH 2018. It therefore provides the perfect networking and educational opportunity for anyone responsible for running a safe, healthy and efficient workplace, anywhere in the UK.

In a fast-changing world of work, keeping up with key changes is more important than ever and the packed programme and extensive exhibition at this year’s show promise to bring visitors right up to date.

Asking the big questions As people are living and working longer and technology develops at an unprecedented rate work life in the future looks very different. But what does this mean for health and safety? Will workers be healthier and safer as a result and what will be the associated challenges and risks that business leaders will need to understand and control? On Wednesday 11th

April, Robertson Cooper will be asking

these questions and attempting to map out the future in A Good Day at Work - the future of work and risk.

The Health & Safety Event also features over 200 leading safety manufacturers and suppliers so visitors can learn about new technologies and services and meet technical experts.

Tim Else, event director at Western Business Exhibitions, which organises the series of shows, said: “The Health & Safety Event is a vital source of information and networking for those people trying to navigate the health and safety challenges of an evolving workplace. It is a must-attend event for anyone responsible for running a safe, healthy and efficient workplace.”
