STEP SANITISING SOLUTION Amidst the global COVID-19 pandemic, facilities managers and business owners have a responsibility to do all they can to keep their employees and the public safe, even more so now as the UK Government continues to ease lockdown measures and life returns to ‘normal’.

One solution is FiltaShield, which offers a three-step sanitising solution. To start, FiltaShield’s fleet of technicians sent to sanitise and disinfect premises, eliminating all enveloped viruses, flu and up to 99.99% of bacteria.

In addition to conventional sanitisation, FiltaShield has partnered with biotech company Zoono, suppliers of a revolutionary antibacterial technology that continues to protect surfaces for up to 30 days.

The product is applied to surfaces in a process called ‘fogging’, which permanently bonds to them to set up a nano-molecular layer of pins which create a hostile barrier to germs, physically impaling and destroying them as they come into contact with the Zoono layer.

FiltaShield can also install Thermo Guard cameras, which can detect high temperatures and fevers in up to 30 people at a time in one second, with an accuracy of ± 0.5ºc.

The technology uses artificial intelligence to identify high temperatures to reduce false alarms meaning there is no-contact in the scanning process.

The company is happy to install cameras on premises as a trial, to help owners decide if it is the right protection for them, and to provide bottles of sanitising spray to top up existing cleaning measures on premises.

In addition to these cleaning and monitoring solutions, FiltaShield also offers the services of a retained environmental health expert, who can advise facilities managers, business owners – even teachers - on the best strategies for maintaining a consistent and effective level of hygiene on their premises.

The solutions offered by FiltaShield have already been deployed in schools, gyms, hairdressers, dentists, offices, and restaurants up and down the country, as businesses continue to find their ‘new-normal’. coronavirus-sanitizing
