SAFETY & SECURITY SYSTEMS

System can be integrated with existing security products like CCTV, access control, patient movement detection, temperature screening and more. It is also possible to visually control and monitor the whole site/multiple systems on one platform.

Depending on the individual setup and installation, unauthorised entry to a specific area can raise a call on the Pinpoint System and send a message to one or more smartphones, pagers, mobile devices and PCs.

The CCTV system can also be programmed to record an entire incident when a staff member has raised an emergency call on the Pinpoint System. This makes it possible to examine the response to the call later in detail, such as for training, compliance and prosecution purposes. The system can even be set up so that during an emergency it can cause the access control system to automatically lock down the ward, allowing access to response staff only.

INFECTION CONTROL

Another layer of protection, not so much from physical violence as from infection, is automatic temperature screening seamlessly

integrated into the Pinpoint System. Temperature screening can detect raised temperatures in large groups of people in less than one second with an accuracy of +/- 0.3 degrees Celsius.

The thermal camera provides a complete solution for providing video surveillance indoors and out of doors as well as temperature measurements. When a person with a temperature above the programmed threshold is detected an alarm is raised, giving employees the chance to isolate the person and perform more detailed health checks. As with the CCTV system, the thermal camera image is recorded and can be stored as appropriate.

PROVEN HARM REDUCTION

It is unrealistic to think that the number of incidents will reduce significantly in many working environments as the downward trend is very slight. However personal attack alarm technology has been shown to seriously reduce the number of incidents that turn into attacks and also to minimise the severity when attacks do sadly occur.
