Metsä extends 2027 Sustainability
Awards entry deadline Metsä Group’s Tissue paper business, Metsä Tissue, in association with the Cleaning & Support Services Association (CHSA), has announced an extension to the deadline for entry for the 2027 Sustainability Awards, hosted by Katrin.
All entries must now be submitted by 20 September 2026, in order to be considered for the 2027 Metsä Sustainability Awards.
The decision to extend the deadline for entry came after a large number of requests from potential entrants who have been impacted by the holiday season.
The event was founded in partnership with the CSSA in 2023, with the aim of shining a spotlight on sustainability across the cleaning and hygiene industry. In 2023, the event was held at the Cutty Sark in Greenwich, London. The 2025 Sustainability Awards ceremony was held at The Pelligon in Canary Wharf, London, on 19 March 2025.

Tomorrow’s Cleaning Awards 2027:
Nominations are open Nominations have opened for the Tomorrow’s Cleaning Awards 2027, and we’re inviting you to tell us what you think have been the best products, innovations and services in the Cleaning, Hygiene and Waste industries over the past 12 months.
The Tomorrow’s Cleaning Awards have been a celebration of the finest innovations and time-tested solutions that the cleaning and hygiene industry has to offer for almost a decade and a half – and are the only industry awards where the winners are voted on directly by you.
In last year’s Awards, Rubbermaid Commercial Products’ Executive Series Housekeeping Cart came out victorious following months of voting, with ASK ALFRED from ecosense Cleaning arriving in second place, while Principle Cleaning Service’s Vertical Services rounded out the top three.
The Top 10 was a mix of innovations and industry favourites, with entrants from every corner of the industry vying for victory across nearly three months of intense voting. It was a close-run affair as the public’s votes kept things interesting and the whole Top 20 were fairly close together in terms of votes, right up until the end.
If you would like to put forward a product or service for the Tomorrow’s Cleaning Awards 2027, or think your company or client deserves recognition for their products or services, please let us know. To nominate for this year’s awards, email Martin HERE with the name of your favourite and why it should be included. We are accepting submissions until end of play Wednesday 30 September 2026.
