They say time flies when you’re having fun, but that doesn’t really explain 2021. Now we’re in its final few months, the year truly feels like it’s flown by in the blink of an eye. This was meant to be the year when we got hold of the COVID-19, beat it into


submission with a huge variety of vaccination options, and started to get back to a real sense of normality.


Instead, vaccine rollouts have been staggered and slower than hoped for across the globe, travel remains a mess of traffic lights and clumsy messaging, and infection


numbers and deaths remain too high. While at times things can feel bleak, the outlook is at least much brighter than it was at this time last year.


While 2021 didn’t bring us all the way back from the brink, momentum is on our side enough to confidently say that 2022 will finally open the world back up. We are going


to need extra precautions and remain vigilant in order to manage this, so our industry is at least going to play a vital part in enabling this.

throughout the pandemic (and beyond), and Rune from Fantastic Services explains what COVID-19 has taught them.
