Who assesses how effective you are?
Each year the Loo of the Year Awards promote the best places ‘to go’ across the country.
Many readers of this publication will be aware from attending the prestigious 2018 Awards Event, or reading the 2018 Loo of the Year Awards Results Brochure, that there were National and UK/Republic of Ireland winners from all market sectors.
These included first time and single- entry entrants and providers from small camping and caravan sites to Town Councils and cafes, to major national companies and large local authorities. Many small, national and international cleaning and FM companies enter each year and receive an independent assessment of their washroom provision and recognition for the high standard of their washroom provision. These opportunities continue in 2019.
Who assesses how clean and well maintained the premises that you own or those that you clean are? How do you benchmark your achievements against your competitors? Does your company and its cleaning staff receive recognition for a job well done? Entry into the annual Loo of the Year Awards is a way of receiving an independent assessment of ‘away from home’ toilet provision and recognition of the standards achieved based on ‘the washroom standard’ for the UK.
Mike Bone, the Awards’ Managing Director, said: “Companies and institutions throughout the UK use
their entries in the annual Loo of the Year Awards as a proven, cost effective and independent annual assessment of the standard of their washroom provision management and receive proper recognition through our annual grading scheme. Birmingham based We Clean in 2015 and leading international FM provider ABM demonstrated in 2017 that a cleaning or FM services company can achieve the ultimate accolade by winning the overall Loo of the Year Awards Trophy.”

Awards Event National and UK Awards will be presented at the prestigious daytime Presentation Event on Friday 6 December 2019 at the elegant four-star St Johns Hotel in Solihull. A unique location that is accessible from all parts of the UK that day – no need for an overnight stay.
In addition to presentation of the Awards, there will be a sparkling wine reception, four course lunch with wine, supplier exhibition, entertainment by a well known comedian and unrivalled networking opportunities. The event offers an excellent opportunity to provide hospitality to staff, customers and prospects.
