What We Do Best

Nestled in the middle of the Gloucestershire countryside lies Cheltenham. A picturesque Spa town that is perhaps best known as the home of the Gold Cup – the flagship horse race and main event at the Cheltenham Festival that draws thousands of visitors placing millions of pounds worth of bets every year.

The town is also home to Premiere Products, the cleaning chemical company that last year celebrated its 90th anniversary. Such a landmark would be difficult for any company, especially considering the economic hardships that the country is still trying to claw its way out of. Tomorrow’s Cleaning editor Matt Waring went down to their Cheltenham HQ to find out a bit more about the deal and what’s next for Premiere.

only our chemical, but with paper and plastic, so they get the best of both.

“It’s allowed us to focus back on what we’re good at. As a chemical manufacturer you’ve got to stay almost one step ahead of what’s coming. If there’s a new floor that’s been created that is the ultimate in safety floor, we have to think ‘how are you going to clean it?’ So we’ve always tried to keep our ear to the ground.”

This constant search for the next step has seen Premiere expand their product line to include three brands, the Premiere brand – their high-end, traditional chemical, the Pro Value range – a cheaper, budget line, and Eco-Force – their more sustainable, eco-friendly line.
