From aesthetics to durability, Quick-Step separates fact from fiction when it comes to laminate flooring.
In an online survey of 1,200 people in the UK by Quick-Step, which asked for their opinions about different flooring types, some surprising misconceptions about laminate flooring were revealed. The leading brand is encouraging retailers to challenge consumer perceptions and become part of a band of flooring myth busters.
According to respondents, who all took part in an online questionnaire, laminate flooring has upsides and downsides. Worries about water, noise, resistance to heat and not being very appealing or beautiful, where all reasons for not thinking about laminate as a floor for their home. On the upside, many people believe it to be easy to clean and good quality, with some also believing it gave their house a classy look.
With Quick-Step laminate flooring many of the worries of homeowners highlighted in the survey are nothing more than a myth, so let’s bust them one at a time:
LAMINATE FLOORING ISN’T WATERPROOF
