THE FLOORING SHOW GUIDE
IT’S SHOW TIME
The Flooring Show returns to the Harrogate Convention Centre from 15-17 September. To help you make the most of your visit and plan your schedule, we’ve compiled a list of what to expect at the industry event of the year.
This month sees the return of the largest ever edition of The Flooring Show. The footprint of this year’s show is 30% bigger and full to the brim with world-leading names that you know and love, alongside manufacturers exhibiting at the event for the first time.
BIGGEST LINE-UP YET The Flooring Show’s exhibitors span the breadth of the flooring industry, attracting manufacturers and suppliers of carpet, laminate, LVT, wood, vinyl, cork, grass, SPC, as well as underlay, adhesives, software, machinery and tools. The names that visitors know and love will be returning to support the three- day show, bringing with them new ranges across all types of flooring for the contract and retail markets. Suppliers include Abingdon Flooring, Adam Carpets, Associated Weavers, Ball & Young, Bostik, Cavalier Carpets, Cormar Carpet Company, COREtec Flooring, Everyroom, Kellars, Furlong Flooring, F Ball and Co. Ltd, Hugh Mackay, Interfloor, Invictus Flooring, Lifestyle, Likewise, Penthouse Carpets, Tarkett, Westex, Victoria Carpets & Design Floors, to name just a few.
Alongside the big names returning to the show, there are plenty of new names joining this year including Floormart, Bjelin, T-Build Floors, Evolve Flooring, Fablon Fine Carpets & Rugs, Juvern, Peri UK, YB Fixings, Tuftco, Rinos, Alsa Flooring, to name just a handful.
WOOL TRENDS CENTRE The Wool Trends Centre and beyond has always endeavoured to show interesting new developments within the wool carpet

sector. The Wool Carpet Focus Group and Campaign for Wool have previously presented Wool Mountains, Wool Volcanos, Bouncebackability and Unflammability demonstrations. They have had pink sunglasses with the theme ‘It`s Cool to Buy Wool’ and the entrance rugs in 100% pure new wool have stood and stomped the test of time for many shows.
For 2024, as you may have expected, there will be something completely different. The focus remains on science-backed messages regarding the benefits of using wool as opposed to synthetic fibres but they will be presented in a totally new manner.
Chairman of the Wool Carpet Focus Group and Council Member for the Campaign for Wool, Martin Curtis, promises something for the whole family to enjoy and get involved with. Retailers, manufacturers and the consumer are invited to visit the Wool Trends Centre in Hall C to see how bright the future is for wool.
DEMO ZONE As always, the Demo Zone, run by the Flooring Industry Training Association (FITA) and supported by the Contract Flooring Association (CFA) and National Institute of Carpet & Floorlayers (NICF) is back in Hall B to impart more wisdom on the latest techniques and insights into working with the newest products on the market, via their live demonstrations across the three days of the show. All demonstrations will be shown at the dedicated area in Hall B, with live demos from qualified instructors. FITA will also be offering the opportunity for visitors to come and ask the experts anything, as they open the stand up to bespoke demonstrations of anything covered over the course of the show.
