Churchill wins RoSPA’s President’s Award

Churchill Group has been awarded the President’s Award from the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) for its health and safety performance, in recognition of 10 consecutive Gold Awards.

Churchill Group won the award for an exemplary health and safety record during the 2025 calendar year, where it demonstrated its long-term commitment to the health, safety and wellbeing of its people.

2026 marks the 70th anniversary of the RoSPA Awards, which began as a small event to recognise the achievements of companies prioritising the safety of workers in the UK. It has grown into one of the biggest and most prestigious health and safety awards programmes in the world, with the 2026 awards attracting 2,000 different entries from nearly 60 countries.

The application process encourages reflective practice and the importance of ongoing learning in reducing workplace accidents. In receiving a RoSPA Award, Churchill Group is part of a proud legacy of organisations dedicated to keeping workers and the public safe.

Dave Baimbridge, Churchill’s Group QHSE&S Director, said: “The President’s Award is a prestigious honour from RoSPA that places us among the highest performing organisations which have sustained excellent operations for a decade. I am proud of all colleagues across our business, whose year-on-year hard work to sustain the safety and wellbeing of our people has been recognised again, on such a significant scale. Each year, we aspire to receive the top- level award available to us, and this accolade is testament to the effort everyone has put in.”

Julia Small, RoSPA’s Growth Director, commented: “RoSPA congratulates Churchill Group on its RoSPA Health and Safety Award. The high standards Churchill Group achieved are the result of hard work and dedication, of which it should be rightfully proud and which RoSPA is delighted to honour. 2026 is a landmark year for the RoSPA Awards as we reflect on how far workplace safety has come in 70 years. It is because of the commitment of health and safety leaders like Churchill Group that people today are safer at work than in the past, and sets an inspiring example for the future.”

Peartree makes fourth SNAP donation

Peartree Cleaning Services has made its fourth annual £5,000 donation to Special Needs and Parents (SNAP), taking its total support for the Essex-based charity to £20,000.

SNAP supports families with children and young people who have additional needs or disabilities, offering advice, counselling, activities and therapy sessions to help children, young people, parents and carers access the guidance they need.

The charity provides a welcoming, non-judgemental space where children and young people can build confidence, develop friendships and take part in specialist activities, while giving parents and carers access to a vital support network.

Brad Reames, Managing Director at Peartree Cleaning, said: “What started as a single donation has become one of the partnerships that matters most to us as a business, and

we are committed to continuing it. SNAP does incredibly important work for families across Essex, and we are pleased to play a small part in helping the charity continue to provide that support.”

Callum Boath, Partnerships Manager at SNAP, added: “Peartree’s support over the past four years has made a real difference to both SNAP and the families we work with. Their support has helped thousands of families across Essex access the guidance, specialist services and community they need to navigate life with an additional need or disability. Long-term partnerships like this are invaluable as they also give us the confidence and stability to plan for the future, develop new opportunities and reach even more families across Essex. We are incredibly grateful to Brad and everyone at Peartree for their continued support and belief in SNAP.”
