MEMBER PROFILE Name: Graham Centini Company: Wagner Plant Ltd Member number: 706 Member since: 07/04/2014

I was operating machines as soon as I could walk really, as every weekend and school holiday was spent going to work with my old fella. I have operated a fair selection in that time, from Drotts, 180’s, tracked 360’s, dozers and a large range of dumpers. I’m now 41 and still enjoy operating. The machine I have now is an EWR150E duck, which I’ve had since June. It comes with a top hitch Steelwrist, 360 camera, Joystick steering and two-piece boom.

I personally picked all the extras with my boss, Anthony Wagner, to provide the best service for what I do; It’s a great personal firm to work for. Except for my name on the door and a few more lights, I like things original.

How did you hear about the Operators Club?

I first heard about the Operators Club through friends who own Volvo 360’s and an SMT fitter called Mike Slater.

What made you join the club? I joined the club because I like to keep up with the latest merchandise and to see what direction Volvo is going with new products.

What do you like about being a member?

I like being a member as you get the chance to see what other operators are up to and what new machines they are currently working. The merchandise discount is also a great idea and beneficial to the working man.

Do you interact with other Operators Club members?

48 THE VOICE MAGAZINE No38 2020

I interact with loads of other operators from all over the country, as living in Cornwall is great, but can be lonely in the world of construction.
