The Legend of Vit Häst


That’s ‘White Horse’ in Swedish to you and me – and the name bestowed on a rather infamous Volvo T800 tractor back in the 1980s.


The tractor lives on – but in a new guise and a new colour. THE VOICE set out to find out more about the beast to bring you – The Legend of Vit Häst.


It was John Jenkins, our Area Sales Manager, looking after the West Midlands and Gloucestershire, who first alerted THE VOICE to a Volvo BM Tractor that had been converted for tractor pulling competitions.


Through one of his customers (Ken Pink Plant Hire), he was introduced to Darren Trower, the owner of said tractor and an appointment was made to go along and visit him.
