greetings from DPI
from paper and pencil to an online survey, can provide you with mul- tiple data points about the learner.
• The focus on more emotional con- nections through joyful events with zeal to motivate is not to be forgot- ten. The brain reacts and retains when emotions get connected to learning. Foster an environment in your classroom that allows for joy and the building of meaningful relationships. Implementing partner or team time to accomplish a proj- ect may be beneficial to not only completing the task at hand, but also in retaining the main points of the concepts investigated.
Look at this alphabet of engagement. Con- sider how you may use it to shape instruc- tion for students. Please feel free to share
your ideas of what each engagement letter looks like in your classroom. Share how you support students in their educational paths with other colleagues.
