Photometer MD 100 Precise Water Analysis in High-Quality Design
Small I Mobile I Rapid
The MD 100 uses high quality interference filters with long-life LEDs as a light source without any moving parts in a transparency sample chamber.
The units supply accurate, reproducible results very quickly. Other major advantages include ease of operation, ergonomic design, compact dimensions and safe handling.
The calibration and software-based adjustment options mean that the MD 100 is also suitable for use as a testing instrument.
The tests are conducted using either Lovibond® tablet reagents with long-term
stability and a guaranteed minimum 5 or 10 year shelf life, VARIO powder reagents or using liquid reagents.
Scroll Memory (SM)
To avoid unnecessary scrolling for the required test method, the instrument memorizes the last method used before switching off the instrument. When the instrument is switched on again, the scroll list comes up with the last used test method first.
Zero Setting (OTZ)
For certain versions of the instrument it is not necessary to zero the instrument each time. The zero setting is held in memory (One Time Zero - OTZ). The zero setting can be confirmed whenever it is useful.
Reader Reply Card no 57 Lovibond® General Catalogue 2010 – Instruments and Reagents for Today’s Water Analysis

TurbiCheck with Infra-Red Light Source (EN ISO 7027) The compact Lovibond®
measures the scattered light at an angle of 90°, as stipulated in EN ISO 7027.
The wide measuring range from 0.01-1100 TE/F = NTU = FNU makes the instrument suitable for various applications, ranging from drinking water to waste water.
As infrared light is used for measurement purposes, the unit can be used to test both coloured and colourless liquids. Highlights • Range 0.01 - 1100 NTU
• Measurement with infrared light at an angle of 90° • Measurement of coloured liquids • Easy handling
• 600 tests without battery change Lovibond®
For the determination of : • pH/Redox •
°C/°F • Conductivity/TDS/ °C/°F • dissolved oxygen (O2) O2-concentration in mg/l °C/°F
Log crucial electro-chemical parameters covering drinking water, effluent, cooling water and boiler feed water with a single, hand-held measurement unit – the new SensoDirect 150. Results can be measured with up to three electrodes – and all at real value for money.

BOD Measurement with Direct Sample Selection and Interface
SensoDirect 150 The Multi-Talent
The Lovibond® infrared turbidity meter TurbiCheck is designed to allow fast, precise on-site testing. The unit
BOD-OxiDirect sensor system for permits exact and convenient measurement of the Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD) based on the respirometric principle. All results are shown in a big display directly in mg/l BOD without the need for time-consuming conversion using factors. In addition, the measuring period can be user-selected between 1 and 28 days.
Delivery Content
TurbiCheck turbidity meter as described above, complete with 4 turbidity standards <0.1, 20, 200 and 800 NTU, battery and test vials, in case. Order code: 26 60 20

The unit measures BOD levels via the pressure drop in the closed system during a defined period of time. Following measurement, the results are stored and can be called up to the display at any time. The inductive stirrer system not only mixes the sample but also ensures optimum gas exchange between sample and gas space in the sample flask. Alongside the BOD unit to determine BOD levels, a BOD system contains sample flasks, a non- wearing inductive stirrer system, overflow measuring flask to measure the sample volume, nitrification inhibitor and potassium hydroxide as an absorbent. Main advantages Direct display of BOD values in mg/l Direct sample selection User-friendly handling User-selectable measuring period Result memory for up to 28 days (BOD5, BOD7, OECD...) Measuring ranges from 0-40 mg/l to 0-4000 mg/l BOD Accurate measurements Autostart function following temperature equalisation of the samples Environment- friendly as mercury-free Automatic stirrer rod centering by the inductive stirrer system Interface RS232
