Solinst (Canada) unveils their newly designed Model 464 Electronic Pump Control Unit.e Model 464 Electronic Control Unit is made to work easily with pneumatic pumps and obtain representative groundwater samples during monitoring programs such as site assessments, contaminant detection, site characterisations, remediation projects, compliance monitoring, etc.
The Model 464 is designed to help field technicians meet the sampling protocols of regulators worldwide, including the U.S. EPA. The Controller allows faster purge rates, as well as precise low flow control to ensure a representative sample at 100 ml/min or less when sampling for Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs).
The Control Unit outputs 125 psi and runs on 4 AA alkaline batteries that can last up to 100 hours of normal use. The Model 464 also has a manual mode that allows users to operate the Control Unit without batteries, using only a compressed air source.
These convenient boxes are rugged, dependable and suitable for all environments. Tubing is supplied and quick-connect fittings allow instant attachment to pumps, dedicated pump well caps, portable pump reel units and to an air compressor or compressed gas source.

The NEW Ultrameter II Now with Hardness Calculator, Free Chlorine Measurements and Wireless Data Transfer!
The Ultrameter II from Myron L Company (USA) still delivers the most accurate dissolved solids measurements of any instrumentation and the greatest degree of accuracy available for pH, ORP and Temperature measurements, but has been redesigned to include an LSI/Hardness Calculator, Free Chlorine measurements and Bluetooth®
data transfer.
The hardness calculator is an analyser that generates a Langelier Saturation Index value useful in determining how to modify hardness, pH or alkalinity to achieve balanced water. The user can accept inferred LSI calculations or input known values for pH, hardness or alkalinity to allow the calculator to determine the LSI value precisely. The user can also select from grains and ppm hardness units within the calculator. ORP readings can be displayed as mV or ppm free chlorine. This new feature allows the Ultrameter II to measure a dynamic range of sanitizer concentrations wider than that of a colorimetric test kit. technology with the bluDoc™ hardware option.

GE Analytical Instruments (USA)is pleased to announce the new Sievers InnovOx On-Line Total Organic Carbon (TOC) Analyser for measuring TOC in wastewater, industrial process, and environmental samples for a wide range of industries. The InnovOx On-Line joins the InnovOx Laboratory TOC Analyser in offering GE's innovative Supercritical Water Oxidation technology for improved reliability, uptime, and robust handling of challenging sample matrices such as brine.
The InnovOx (short for "Innovative Oxidation" technology) uses Supercritical Water Oxidation (SWCO), which combines high temperature and pressure to convert an aqueous sample matrix into supercritical water, a phase in which the water is neither liquid nor gas, and where SCWO can occur. This results in highly efficient oxidation, enhanced TOC measurement accuracy and precision, and the elimination of problematic sample contamination after analysis. SCWO represents one of the most significant breakthroughs in commercial TOC analysis in the last 25 years, offering an alternative to the decades- old combustion method.
The Sievers InnovOx measures from 0.5 to 50,000 parts per million (ppm) TOC. It features extended calibration stability, user-configurable
