UK Focus i STA Focus

The STA continues to support its members in a number of ways, one of the keyways is by our task group meetings, these meetings are the main driving force of the STA which allow Test laboratories, Equipment suppliers, Process operators, Regulators, Certifi cation and Accreditation bodies, to come together and discuss relevant topics and issues. The latest EN14181 task group was held in October, the EN14181 TG has been a very active group since its inception in 2021, within the TG we have been addressing and discussing topics like Stack fl ow requirements and the information on certifi cation for these types of equipment, what the capabilities are and how clear the information is for the end users. As well as reviewing the MID and queries the have been raised by STA members, giving constructive feedback has always been a key roll of the STA and we continue to work with regulators, certifi cation and accreditation bodies to ensure that our members views are heard. The group also received feedback on ISO 1611 part 1 revision and the plan for future work with in the ISO WG, our task group also discussed M20, reviewing CEM and AMS are certifi ed to the NOx ELV, NO2 is a high temperature probe, Proposal Calibrate on total NOx

losses due to being partially soluble, the uncertainty e.g. 2%, NO2 NOx ratio can change in the probe if it . The group went on to discuss CCUS uncertainties, data acquisition and handing systems (DAHS) and

were informed that the EA have completed a revision of the MCERTS Environmental data management software standard, this document is due to be available in the Autumn and the revised version of the MCERTS performance standard will include references to EN 17225-1 and EN 17255-2.
