It was again awarded Five Gold Anchors in 2020, has Fáilte Ireland Quality Assured Standard and has achieved Blue Flag accreditation. KYC lies just 120 nautical miles
from Wales, 240 miles from North- West France and only 500 miles from the Galician Coast of Northern Spain. Most significantly, it is only
30 km by road from Cork, Ireland’s second city. The marina is capable of taking visiting craft of all sizes with at least 8 metres depth available at its visitor berths. Located in the heart of Kinsale town, it offers safe and secure berthing within the virtually landlocked harbour. Security is
provided by a self-locking gate and CCTV camera security system. Rolec Classic pedestals supply electricity and water to the berths and a pump-out service is available by arrangement. Other facilities in the area are a boatyard for lift-out, repair and storage of vessels, a sailmaker, a diving contractor and a
local fuel dock. Visitors to KYC have access to all
the club’s facilities as a temporary member, including bar and dining facilities, changing rooms, laundry facilities and a fitness room. Kinsale Yacht Club
