Above: Modtech C20 Machine number one still in operations at Investacast.

Tim Whittaker, the technical manager at Mayo Engineering Ltd, was sold to the UK investment casting foundry Investacast, who are located by the Devon coast in Ilfracombe, and this actual machine number one, has been in daily use from 1999 to the current day, and still continues to give daily good service. In continuing with this constant

research of satisfying customer needs, Mayo Engineering and Modtech Machines installed a new Modtech Automode 12-4 horizontal automatic wax injector, again at Investacast, to go alongside a recently installed Modtech C30 C Frame wax injector. Tony Buckland, Managing Director,

Investacast commented, “Back in 1999 when I was 12 years into my career as QA Manager at Investacast, we took receipt of the first Modtech Wax Injection machine. We were the ‘go getters’ in the industry and invested our trust in new companies like Modtech.” “Twenty-two years later we are now

Well done, Peter, and all your team at Modtech,” Buckland stated. Since 1999, Mayo Engineering has
