in China, Taiwan, Turkey and Bulgaria, but in the end it was decided to work with India. Mayo chose India for a variety of reasons, some of which are, English is widely spoken, a free market economy, a large pool of highly qualified engineers, a business system similar to the UK, and

most importantly, a willingness to grasp new ideas and challenges. Once India was selected, Mayo
Engineering and Modtech Machines Pvt Ltd agreed to work together, and at first, to design a new range of C Frame wax injectors. After a lot of thought, and visiting
many foundries with the simple question, “What would you like to see in your ideal 20 Tonne C Frame wax injector?”, it transpired that in 1999 the first Modtech C Frame wax injector was built, designed by Peter Mayo in conjunction with Modtech, the Modtech model C20, as it’s known, is now in use all across world.
