Plant parts are: • roots • stem • leaves • flowers • fruits • seeds.
Non-living things do not carry out all seven life processes.
Plants need light, water and air to grow.
New plants grow from seeds or cuttings (stems).
Animal shelters are human-made (such as a dog kennel) or natural (such as a bird’s nest).
Animal parts include: • head • body • tail • limbs • sense organs.
Animals live in different kinds of habitats where different kinds of plants grow.

Animal shelters are shell structures (such as a snail’s shell) or frame structures (such as a spider’s web).
Structures are made from parts put together.
