Identify, label and describe the parts of a plant
Individual work 1 Find a weed, such as a dandelion, in the school grounds. You can also use the bean plant you grew in Unit 1. 1.1 Carefully pull it out of the soil, roots and all.
1.2 Take a good look at your plant. Write a sentence to describe each of its parts. Here is an example of how you could describe the flowers:
“The flowers are yellow and have a lot of petals.”
2 Look at the picture of the dandelion plant in Figure 2. Write down the missing labels 1 to 4.
