Ciren Scene Magazine - Establishing Local Connections

We’re delighted to welcome all our retailers, market traders and of course, the community back to Cirences- ter as businesses are able to slowly re-open in accord- ance with the phased easing of restrictions. As we take these next steps, we must, of course, remain vigilant and continue to follow the guidelines to protect ourselves and others whilst we are out an about and shopping locally.

May is shaping up to be a busy month with all our popular outdoor markets return- ing, including the Arts & Crafts Market on Saturday 1st May and the first Saturday of each month thereafter. We’re also excited to be holding our first Vintage Market on the 15th & 16th June as well as a Late May Market on 29th & 30th.

Cirencester Town Council continue to support local businesses, like our social media campaign featuring a series of ‘welcome back’ video messages from a number of the town’s retailers and publicising reopening dates, special offers and opening hours.

Following the success of the Shop Local Challenge prize

draw in the run up to Chrstmas 2020, we are happy to be able to extend the draw and make it even easier to enter! For every £1 spent in a participating shop, you will receive a sticker to complete the grid and be in with a chance of winning. Look out for the Shop Local Cirences- ter stickers in the windows of shops taking part.

Thanks to the generosity of our local busi- nesses, we have some exciting prizes to be won, including vouchers from Reiker, Gar- diners, and Jesse Smiths and tickets from the Barn Theatre.

A draw will take place at the end of each month and one lucky winner will win a prize. You can enter as many times as you like, grids can be collected from the Local

Information Centre, Bingham House, Dyer St. or down- loaded from www.cirencester.gov.uk. Once you’ve filled the grid, simply drop it off at the Local Info Centre.
