he events of 2020 forced the entire World to rethink engagement and communication. They taught us to
be resilient and flexible. This year started out with many of the same uncertainties, yet we are finding our way out of the darkness and there is light at the end of the tunnel.
Most of you know the ICI team, and our commitment to bringing you, our Members, the opportunity to grow your business and to learn from each other. As 2020 taught us, this beautiful gift called life, is a constant learning experience and if we aren’t flexible and open to adjusting “the way it’s always” been done, and thinking of creative ways to find solutions to the current events that surround us, we will be left behind. This is one of the main reasons that the ICI team has been working “behind the scenes” for over a year and attending many webinars and training programs to learn how to best serve you in our evolving environment.
Our training,
which has addressed everything from digital financial transactions, to streamlining internal processes, to conducting virtual meetings and hosting monthly webinars, has better prepared us to adapt to our current “new normal”. Having a better understanding of the road we have to navigate until restrictions are lifted and we are able to travel again, better positions us to offer you value. We are working to serve you through the Pandemic while preparing for life thereafter. The most recent webinar in which I participated dealt with Member Engagement. I thought this will be a great one to attend, and I wasn’t disappointed! Through a series of surveys sent out to Associations and their Members, the webinar host identified and addressed many of our daily struggles.

our commitment through the practical application of techniques presented. As we all know, the Investment Casting Institute offers education and training, we provide opportunities for Member promotion within our industry and the industries that we serve, and we offer great events that afford you the opportunity to network and highlight your products and company.

are striving everyday to find new and exciting ways to communicate with you and ensure that you derive benefit from your Membership. In support of this evolution, we just sent out our first quarterly survey for
recovery and the future of our industry. Through resilience, we will come out of this together and be stronger for the experience. As we plan events for the remainder of this year, based on CDC Guidelines and Member Company allowance, we are hopeful that we will soon be reunited, face to face, and work together to build a brighter future.
