Mr. Philippe Hoste (Castingpar Group CEO) Appointed New Member of the EICF Board Of Directors
Last 17 of February the EICF
Board of Directors held its ordinary online session meeting, where Mrs. Magdalena Nizik, Board member and Vice chairwoman of the EICF communicated her decision of stepping down from the Board, following
her departure from CPP
Corporation Poland to new ventures. The EICF Chairman expressed to Mrs. Nizik the collective Board recognition expression on her contribution to the Federation and her leadership and commitment in pursuing excellence in supporting EICF activities. Mrs. Nizik has decided to continue her link with the EICF and the European Investment Casting industry by becoming an Alumni member of the Federation. Following the deliverance of the
Board,the candidancy of Mr. Philippe Hoste (Castingpar Group CEO) was
approved to fill in, the empty chair left by Mrs. Nizik.
As per the EICF
AoA, this appointment shall be subject to ratification by the next General Assembly.
Philippe Hoste is active in the
Investment Casting industry since 2015, as Managing Director of the CASTINGPAR Group, having today 3 plants employing a total of 200
people: the SETTAS foundry
(Charleroi, Belgium), the PRECIMETAL foundry (Seneffe, Belgium) and the MPO machine shop (Orléans, France). CASTINGPAR is producing and exporting castings to 24 countries mainly for aerospace and defense applications. Before being involved in the Investment Casting industry, Mr. Hoste has been involved as CEO of aerospace manufacturing projects in France, Canada, USA, Morocco and
New EICF Member: MTU Aero Engines
MTU Aero Engines AG has recently joined the EICF, complementing the presence of other European aerospace engine companies such as Roll-Royce, Safran and ITP Aero as EICF members. MTU Aero Engines is Germany’s leading engine manufacturer and an established global player in the industry. It engages in the development, manufacture, marketing and support of commercial and military aircraft engines in all thrust and power categories and industrial gas turbines. The German manufacturer employs approximately 10,000 people overall and with its various affiliates and subsidiaries has a presence in all significant regions and markets worldwide.
EICF feels reinforced in its strategy pursuing the advance of the European Investment Casting technology and the defense of the European Investment casting industry with the presence of MTU Aero Engines as a new member.

Belgium with several achievements in business development, turnaround and M&A. Mr. Hoste has been an active
“observer to the board” since 2019 and is well acquainted with the EICF BoD proceedings. The position of Vice chairman remains open until the next EICF AISBL AGM to be held in May 2021.
