Award-winning Barnsley firm Fab Events is bucking this trend through their continued growth, starting the new year with a new member in the team. The company, a specialist in events strategy,

joined forces with Barnsley College to place a Level Three Business Student within the organisation. Ellie, the new member of team Fab, will be taking on the role of Junior Digital Marketer, managing the online wedding support community created by Fab Events in response to the impact Government restrictions have had on brides and grooms across the country. According to Good Things Foundation, over
300,000 young people do not have basic digital skills as a result of digital exclusion, with approximately one million people within the Yorkshire region not using the internet. This position created in partnership with Barnsley College for student Ellie allows Fab Events to provide a young person with the skills they need, as well as bringing new levels of service to their clients. service at the forefront of their business activity. Their recently launched wedding support service, centred around giving brides and grooms a platform to talk about help they need, will be supported by other businesses in the community to provide tips and updates with the aim of kickstarting growth back into the industry.
