Community Garden Project launches in the Swadlincote area

The Community Garden Project, run by Grow Outside CIC, is looking for volunteers to help with gardening jobs for members of the community who are struggling to take care of their gardens and would benefit from a helping hand.

By joining the project volunteers will improve communication skills, develop confidence, and increase their employability - with lots of trans- ferable skills for their CV!

They will also meet new people and get exercise in the fresh air. This is a community project, where you’ll be helping to support people from your area, and making the local environment look better, all while growing your skills and abilities.

For more information or to join the project, call Claire Teeling by telephone on 07960 249816 or email hello@growoutside.co.uk or visit Facebook @growoutsidecic or Instagram @grow_outside.
