At the start of 2020, the local Fine & Country offices pledged to donate a £100 per completed sale to the Fine & Country Foundation. A charity set up to help combat the causes of homelessness. In total they have now raised £33,700 from completions alone.
This is just a fraction of the money raised, as it does not include other fund-raising events including sleep outs, fashion shows and of course the donations matched by sellers. The fund-raising campaign has been so successful the local business has agreed to extend the pledge for all of 2021.
Jonathan Handford from Fine & Country said: “It has been a particularly challenging year for everyone. Many people are finding themselves in incredibly difficult situations through no fault of their own. We work closely with many heroic organisations that have dedicated themselves to helping those that need it most. Charities such as Helping Hands in Leamington Spa where we can see a real difference with the money that is raised.”
