ABBEY COLLEGE IN MALVERN OFFERING MORE OPPORTUNITIES TO LOCAL STUDENTS AND NHS STAFF
ABBEY COLLEGE IN MALVERN, NUMBER 1 OUT OF 4470 SCHOOLS IN ENGLAND Department of Education figures show that out of 4470 schools, Abbey College in Malvern is the Number 1 school where students make the greatest progress at A level, achieving the top value-added scores in the country. This is of particular local significance as Daniel Booker, Principal since 2020, is keen to recruit higher numbers of students from the surrounding area.
“At Abbey College we can offer students a whole range of opportunities that would simply not be accessible to them in state education. Our students make friends with peers from all over the world, they get lots of individual attention in small class sizes and lots of different extra-curricular activities.
“Our A-level results, where 79% achieved A*-A in all exams, really speaks volumes. It demonstrates what the vast majority of students can do if you give them support and the right tools to help them succeed.”

Abbey College in Malvern is offering ‘opportunities of a lifetime’ to the region’s pupils, making an independent education more accessible to a wider range of students across the Three Counties.
The Principal explained: “We are really delighted to be able to offer these once-in-a-lifetime opportunities for local students who have big dreams but are unable to afford an independent education.”
“Our ethos is to help mould students into great citizens of the future and one way to do that is to give them a first-class education.”
Local students whose families cannot afford independent school fees can nonetheless have access to an independent education at Abbey College in Malvern.
The £29,200 a year residential international school, where day fees are £14,600, is to offer one free place and four additional places for day students at £400 per term from Year 8 up to the end of Year 9 and £700 per term from Year 10 up to Year 13. Substantial discounts are also available for boarders.
The Abbey College is also offering up to 30 free places (worth £500,000 in fees) in its day school to NHS staff working in local NHS facilities so their Children can catch up with lost education (and Summer School fun and activities) and hard working Parents can get back to some normality without worrying about children at home during the Summer.
The College is also offering a further 30 tuition free places to NHS staff wishing to have full-boarding places for the new term starting September 2021 (only boarding fees payable by parents taking up this extended offer).
