ments to the OTRA washroom at Helmut’s. We also want to acknowledge Helmut and Ron aka Statler and Waldorf for the construction of the new car garage/meeting/eating room cover. Thank you Elaine and Gord for maintaining grass in the Dufferin main track camp grounds. Our good friend Leszek Skrzeczkowski and his wife have returned to their beloved Poland. Les purchased a seven acre farm and
then sent for this horse Dyzio. We miss you already Les! We have so much to be grateful for. Our passion for horses allows us to enjoy our sport even in these times of social distancing.
Helmut has graciously allowed club members to camp and ride out of his property in the King Eldred Forest. We can ride and camp at Elaine and Gord Wiesner’s in the Dufferin/Simcoe. We can ride and camp at Cathy Togeretz’s in the Ganaraska. We can ride and camp in Sandaraska Park. We also have the Copeland Forest. The Dundas Valley is now offering very limited horse camping this fall. Saugeen Bluffs is open for riding and camping. Other riding groups are having events some of our members have been enjoying on private lands – like the various hunt club rides or clinics etc. Many more options are now available. WE RIDE!
