Surgical Care Podcast ASCA’s new Advancing Surgical Care Podcast, introduced earlier this year, features conversations with leaders in the ASC community discussing essen- tial industry news and information. On Tuesday, October 20, Rebecca
Overton-Geise, president of NSN Rev- enue Resources in Tampa, Florida, will present “Optimizing Profitability Through Engagement and Team Align- ment.” Attendees will explore cre- ative ways of improving their team’s knowledge, accountability and overall engagement to improve revenue cycle outcomes and increase the profitability of their centers. Lastly, on Tuesday, October 27, John Goehle, chief operating officer of Ambulatory Healthcare Strategies in Spencerport, New York, will explore the various types of organizational struc- tures common in ASCs and discuss the responsibilities of governing body members under the Medicare Condi- tions for Coverage and review the attri- butes of a high-functioning and compli- ant governing board.
