Global Presence, Local Support (Virtually) – KBA Group of Companies Provides Services Remotely For Technology Driven Consultancy, Project Support and Training Services

KB Associates Pte Ltd (KBA), moves into remote support services for all industry sectors and clients.

The recent months have tested global business operations and has demonstrated failures in conventional support. The new business norm, post-pandemic, will have organisations that will need client and project specifications with expertise in competent consultancy services.

Established in 2002, KBA has always been at the forefront of change, leading the way with initiatives which other providers then attempt to replicate. KBA has always taken pride in being the ‘first’ while others follow. As we now move into a ‘post pandemic’ working environment, once again KBA is taking this lead. KBA’s team has over 150 years of military and commercial diving experience within their management team, and additionally over 200 years’ experience in our dedicated ‘core consultancy specialists’. This abundance of collective experience allows for KBA to offer clients and Project Managers a wide support ranging from practical application to overall contract considerations.

KBA is proud to announce that it has recently commenced providing services to our clients via online communication systems. This allows clients full access to Commercial Diving Technical Advisors and Technical Authorities, Subject Matter Experts (SME) in Safety, Diving and ROV, ROV Consultants, Project Management. The support available from the KBA Group provides clients with a cost-effective means of accessing professional, up to date independent advice and information to support their projects globally.

The KBA Group has recently been awarded contracts in UK, Indonesia, Vietnam and Thailand for Commercial Diving SME services for major operator(s), whereby a ‘pay as you use’ arrangement allows the clients to engage with competent SME’s from the KBA’s management team, and core KBA consultants.

KBA Training has now commenced our instructor led Virtual – Interactive Training. Delegates from Australia, Barbados, Brunei, India, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Thailand, UAE, UK, and USA joined our inaugural IMCA Trainee Air and Bell Diving Supervisor’s training in August 2020.

6 www.sosmagazine.biz August 2020 The business climate of today requires

companies to enable ‘working from home’ routines has demonstrated that a KBA Subject Matter Expert based in Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, UK, USA, Australia or New Zealand, can provide similar competent advisory and technical service support as someone based within the client’s office, using online video conferencing and meeting systems such as TEAMS, Zoom, Webex and others. We are able to join in meetings and provide the technical support as if we are present within the same office as the project team. Additionally, we are now able to provide services across borders that have restricted travel, eliminating the risk of travel hazards, removing travel time, additional costs and much more. KBA’s dedicated virtual studio is now available for meetings, and virtual training for a full suite of courses, while our team can provide the SME support from wherever they are based. We are here for you, with our ‘Global presence and providing Local support’ (virtually). We look forward to setting a new precedent on how contractors and operators can have cost effective, quality and competent support for their projects.

Mr. Darren Brunton, Managing Director of KBA
