ere are some of this month’s ‘Happy Pound’ items: •Anne is enjoying keeping up with


her friends on Zoom with a Friday night chat and drink.


• Kyff was pleased to announce that a fishtank he had bought many years ago when in the Philippines was now rewired and has tropical fish it for the first time in 22 years.


• Gordon MacK was enjoying watching reruns of football matches and was pleased to donate £3 as he seen Aberdeen beat Celtic once and Rangers twice!


• Brian was pleased to say that he had survived 2 haircuts from his wife Muriel.


• James Y was del ighted he had completed his Couch to 5K Challenge having run for 40 minutes around his back garden. It had taken him 9 weeks to build up to this and he had managed to raise over £1,200 for Food for Fife.


• Grace was pleased to add pound as she had managed to catch up with a lot of clearing of cupboards and filing personal and Rotary items.


• John S was delighted to announce the birth of granddaughter Cassandra Alba, born on the 18th May. She is 1 day and 2 hour s old in thi s photograph.

Membership Anniversaries: Jim Allison (2015), John Fernie (rejoined 2015) Irene Walker (2018) Stephen Bennie, Graham Dalton and Eric Fraser (all 2019).


Our Regular meetings are currently suspended due to coronavirus restrictions therefore there is sadly little opportunity to welcome visitors. However, on the 19th, John Spittal introduced us to his new granddaughter Cassandra Alba Barnes and a couple of spouses of members popped their heads in to see her. On the 26th, Hector, Cassandra’s big brother, was not to be outdone and arrived to have a look at us all and say ‘goodnight’ before heading off to bed.
