Education Institute (NAAEI) offers an as- sortment of online courses and recorded webinars that can be taken 24 hours a


day on our new online learning platform Visto at gowithvisto.org. NAAEI has now added free courses related to the COVID-19 cri- sis. You can access those here.

Education Institute (NAAEI) ACE Awards recognize outstanding achievement in the field of apartment career development and/ or contributions made to, or on behalf of, NAAEI and its professional education in- terests and initiatives. The ACE Industry Educator Award cel- ebrates educators who have expanded the scope of career development and education initiatives beyond their responsibilities as a professional educator. Education is part of the job description of the professional edu- cator. The judges were looking for a dem- onstration of commitment to the apartment industry and the promotion of apartment ca- reers; a unique approach to career develop- ment and apartment industry education; and


evidence of contributions and achievements with regard to career development and education initiatives. Congratulations also to Abbie Huffman with Rent Manager


for being selected as a finalist for the National Suppliers Council (NSC) Achievement Award. Abbie has also been selected a finalist for the Supplier Sales Professional of the Year Award. The National Supplier Achievement Awards recognizes indi-


viduals based on professional achievement and personal contribu- tions to the apartment industry. Many individuals in the supplier community have made significant “above and beyond” contribu- tions to the apartment industry. The Supplier Sales Professional of the Year Award recognizes


a sales professional who best exemplifies the characteristics of professionalism, service and expertise. Sales must be the nomi- nee’s primary duty (minimum of 75 percent) within the business. Recipients of the 2020 NAAEI Individual Awards will be rec- ognized at NAA’s Apartmentalize conference now rescheduled for November 4-6, 2020, in conjunction with the 2020 NAA Assembly of Delegates meeting in Dallas. NAA will also announce the win- ner of the National Suppliers Council (NSC) Achievement Award as well as the Supplier Sales Professional of the Year Award dur- ing the 2020 NAA Excellence Awards Reception in November.
