BIG WIN FOR MACMILLAN AT WORLD’S BIGGEST COFFEE MORNING
The team at Guards Polo Club may have hosted their World’s Biggest Coffee Morning event a day early this year but it still proved a major success. The Club raised £1,200 for Macmillan Cancer Support in late September, believed to be the highest tally raised by this team to date. Not only was this a lovely opportunity to catch up over delicious cakes and coffee in the Clubhouse – including a stunning creation from Mosimann’s pastry chef Nick Hebditch – but there was also the opportunity for visitors to start some Christmas shopping. There were plenty of great gift ideas in the room, as well as the popular, pre-loved book stall. Add in the raffle and a couple of other fun games with prizes and it had all the ingredients to be a super fun, fundraising morning. The only dilemma was how to decide which cake to have with your coffee!
