On-line ticket sales 2020 launch in early spring
A benefit of age
GUARDS POLO CLUB’S Ticket Office will be live online from February 2020. Any Club member who has not yet registered for the website is advised to do so before purchasing tickets to guarantee membership discounts. Our ticketed events for 2020 are:
Cartier Queen’s Cup Semi-Finals – Wednesday 10 June 2020 Two amazing, 22-goal games, with the teams - and their stunning ponies - at their very best in this final tilt for this prestigius trophy. Clubhouse hospitality is perfectly timed so you won't miss a moment of either game.
Cartier Queen’s Cup Finals – Sunday 14 June 2020 We will be celebrating the 60th anniversary of this coveted trophy on this day - once again delivering a spectacular day of sport, style and fine dining in association with our long-standing sponsor Cartier. HM The Queen historically attends on this day to present the trophy which she first awarded in 1960.
Out-Sourcing! Inc. Royal Windsor Cup Finals – Sunday 21 June 2020 A spectacular feast of equestrian speed and elegance, historically attended by HM The
Queen. Polo plus carriage driving, while our generous sponsors bring a hint of Japan to Smith's Lawn, ensuring a unique experience for all of our guests.
Hildon Archie David Cup Final – Sunday 28 June 2020 The most competitive final played at Smith's Lawn all year thanks to the impressive number of teams that enter this competition, the UK's leading eight-goal tournament. Hildon's strong support ensures this uniquely British day is a perfect family day out.
Guards Ladies Charity Day – Saturday 29 August 2019 The final of our high-goal ladies polo tournament, highlighting a booming sector of our favourite sport. Although every element of this day - polo, hospitality, luxury trade village, ticket sales - is aimed at raising funds for our designated charity, Smart Works Reading.

Getting old does have one advantage if you are a social member of Guards Polo Club. Any member who is 75 on or before the 1st April 2020 will be entitled to a discount on their social membership fees for the 2020 season. Please contact Pam Manku in the accounts department on 01784 434212 or email her at

guardspoloclub.com. Those members applying for this discount will be sent the relevant forms to allow the Club to amend its database so that you are charged the correct rate in the future. Please note that the direct debit payments are collected in late January so please make sure you have notified the office well before then.
