The rapidly expanding Tech- nological Innovations Group is to partner with its key vendor Crestron in opening new facili- ties in Europe. Crestron has an- nounced two new customer-fo- cused facilities in Frankfurt, Germany this winter. First, a new customer center will pro- vide training, technical support, and a fully equipped product presentation and demonstration area. Second, a new Experience Center will showcase all the Crestron technology in live ap- plication usage. This new Expe- rience Center has been devel- oped in partnership with TIG, Crestron’s exclusive sales orga- nization in EMEA, and is ideal for end users, consultants and integrators to see Crestron solu- tions up close and in action. The beautiful, brand-new Ex- perience Center will offer Cre- stron commercial dealers the ideal venue to bring their cus- tomers for hands-on, immer- sive experiences with the latest Crestron solutions that will help them meet the communication and productivity challenges they face every day. Clients of

Crestron residential dealers will be able to experience the in- visible luxury of Crestron smart home solutions in elegantly ap- pointed real world settings. In the UK, support team and training rooms move to Wey- bridge, while the new TIG sales office can be found in Cobham, Surrey. The new Crestron of- fice space at 400 Dashwood Lang Road in Weybridge will offer increased training facili- ties to enable commercial and residential AV professionals to prepare for the control system design and programming chal- lenges they face every day. The modular office spaces benefit from movable dividing walls to facilitate modern working cul- ture and will be equipped with the latest Crestron solutions for room scheduling and unified collaboration. The Weybridge office will also be the home of the support team, comprised of accomplished service techni- cians and specialists. This sup- port team is backed up by the experts situated in the Crestron head offices in Belgium and the US.

Vision solves cable packaging

Vision now ships cables in a clever box which solves two problems. It protects the cable during shipping, then acts as a spool to help deploy the cable; simply hold the box in the pre- scribed way and pull the cable. Unspooling in this way means

the cable is immediately straight, instead of coiling as they normally do. The time sav- ing is significant – especially with longer cables that take so long to straighten out and in- variably snag if you don’t.

The Intel Unite solution

comprises an Intel Core vPro processor-powered hub that communicates with the app for PC, Mac, or tablet devices and a small server component that orchestrates and manages the solution across devices and hubs throughout the network. From the Intel Unite app, users can mute products and control the unit's volume and camera zoom, right alongside the plat- form's other capabilities. The app is available now for all mobile devices and operating systems.
