The key to delivering effective lessons with edtech is confi- dence, and the State of Technology in Education Report re- vealed that around a third of all teachers, IT managers and SMT members agree that insufficient funds are allocated to training and only 16.5% of teachers believe they have adequate train- ing. In an effort to improve end-user confidence in using edtech provisions, Promethean continues to make investments beyond software and hardware. Named as Promethean’s exclusive Science, Technology, Engi- neering Arts and Maths (STEAM) partner for the UK, The Learn- ing Partnership will be helping to support the wider integration of technology into education and encourage engagement among students in STEAM subjects. With its roots firmly embedded in education, Promethean is acutely aware of the major skills gap within STEAM careers and the major focus on STEAM delivery in schools.
