LG LED Film is designed for flexibility, so it can enhance many settings. It can be deployed along a curve up to 1,100R in a con- vex installation. Sizing is flexible, as panels can be added verti- cally or horizontally, and the film can be cut parallel to the bezel. The screens have UV protection to ensure they maintain vibrancy even when installed in outward facing windows. The 24mm pitch is perfect for large displays meant to flaunt logos or animations for a crowd. For NEC, this year’s ISE will feature the future digital signage solu- tions and collaboration technologies that help organisations adapt to the changing nature of the modern corporate and business en- vironment. The NEC stand will showcase its display technologies and solutions grouped around three core focus areas: workspace collaboration, next generation signage and large venue visualisa- tion to impress and gain attraction.
The showcase highlights how businesses can foster greater collab- oration and efficiency among their employees, with tools for dis- play and effortless information sharing. Solutions include NEC’s latest InfinityBoard, the all-in-one collaboration display for profes- sional users which now features the Quicklaunch meeting appli- cation. Quicklaunch delivers one-click join functionality for over 30 conferencing providers and the ability to launch applications, share devices and more all within a secured environment. In addition, NEC will present the next generation of its most ver- satile and future-proof Large Format Display for pre-view and the latest Direct View LED line up for large-scale and plug-and-play visualisation. The new LED models complement the high-end port- folio with even finer pixel pitches for the best viewing experience in even the brightest environments. NEC will also showcase its recently launched NEC MediaPlayer software, powered by Raspberry Pi, allowing intuitive and flexi- ble out-of-the-box standalone operation as well as third-party ap- plications to better integrate into a wide range of digital signage scenarios.

ISE 2020 will see Crestron introduce a new strategy to the those involved in its eco system. This will start early next year with the new OS3 for its residential products and a move away from pro- prietary programming languages to HTML 5.0. This will not affect Crestron’s commercial products immediately, but the company has not ruled it out.
