Canon concentrates on higher resolutions Canon Europe Hall 1 Booth F50
Canon will be showcasing products which illustrate the rise of 4K and 8K. Increasingly, systems integrators are looking for a com- plete range of solutions which streamline workflows and guarantee optical excellence. Canon has a long heritage of delivering high quality imaging solutions, from the XF705 production camera and the newly launched Cinema EOS C500 Mark II, to its wide range of 4K projectors. Across Canon’s XEED projector line-up and camera range, Can- on uses the same precision-built glass which is featured in its world-renowned EF and RF lens range, ensuring incredibly high resolution and true to life images. Creative sectors and attrac- tions such as museums and galleries are increasingly creating more immersive and engaging experiences and visual storytelling is becoming a crucial tool to do this. Canon’s line-up of laser pro- jectors provides museums with easy installation and low-mainte- nance solutions that enable them to deliver this level of digital storytelling, with minimum expense and with the flexibility to truly immerse visitors in the experience. Of particular interest to ISE 2020 visitors will be Canon’s 8K showcase. In 2009, Canon developed a 10x zoom lens compati- ble with 8K requirements. Ever since, Canon has kept developing various 8K compatible broadcast lenses, with the latest develop- ments including the multi-purpose portable 7ex10.7 KAS S zoom lens and Canon’s first 8K UHD-DIGISUPER 51 field zoom lens. In these lenses, Canon has managed to achieve ultra-high resolution. with a level of optical performance from the centre to peripheral areas of image.
Canon has already experimented with 8K for a live-video trans- mission of a rugby match in Japan. The match was captured with a Canon 8K camera and lens and transmitted to a Canon 8K HDR Display and projector system comprising of four Canon 4K HDR projector units to achieve an impressive live viewing experience. Canon will reconstruct a similar demonstration on stand to show- case the optical excellence of its 8K line-up.
Clevertouch Enterprise Ecosystem for the agile workspace launching at ISE
Clevertouch Hall 13 Booth C140
This year at ISE, Clevertouch is launching the ‘Enterprise Eco- system’, an all-one-solution designed for the agile workspace. A real-time collaborative platform that enables participants to work together seamlessly in an open environment no matter where they are located or what device they are using, whilst ensuring that the company’s underlying networks remain totally secure. Connecting multiple users on a common platform is an essential goal for businesses today.
More enterprise entities are deploy-
ing Unified Communications and BYOD concepts, using Skype for Business and other solutions, to enable users to overcome barriers to collaboration. Meeting spaces are evolving, with more hud- dle areas and open spaces for informal and unscheduled team meetings, requiring additional AV technology to connect people remotely. This way of working is becoming the norm - no longer do we need to book a meeting room or wait for availability – we can schedule a time and everyone simply logs-in from their touch- screen in the office, laptop, phone or tablet.
“Enabling employees to use collaborative technology should be simple and uncomplicated for everyone. Users should decide how their technology works, the technology shouldn’t dictate their path. Unlock content and data from individual devices, move it into a shared workspace so that everyone in the team can access it simultaneously, regardless of whether they’re in the office or on the other side of the world,” says Shaun Marklew, Chief Technol- ogist at Clevertouch. “Operating platform, device or software is no longer the obstacle – in fact the tech and hardware should be completely irrelevant to participants.
It’s important that technol-
ogy enhances, not impedes, the free flow of ideas and the power of the collective mind.”
The feature-rich ‘Enterprise Ecosystem’ comprises of video and voice conferencing, screen sharing and mirroring, file sharing, infinity whiteboarding, remote on-screen annotation, digital mes-
saging, instant alerts, room and meeting booking system and en- terprise-wide digital signage across any connected screen-based displays – connecting multiple users on a common platform. Simplicity, ease-of-use and security are the three things that make the Clevertouch ‘Enterprise Ecosystem’ stand-out. Unlike other collaboration environments, which require users to install apps and/or plugins often conflicting with the organisation’s in- ternal security protocols, the Clevertouch ecosystem requires no downloads and can be configured to work within a company’s unique network and security framework. The E-Cap from Clevertouch is the central hub of the ‘Enterprise Ecosystem’. The latest interactive display benefits from a blend of two technologies that combine IR technology and electro magnetic resonance. The two technologies have enabled Clevertouch to cre- ate an advanced, durable and lightweight display with outstanding touch accuracy and responsiveness, delivering the same user ex- perience as a capacitive screen, but at a fraction of the cost.

LG to scale up at ISE 2020 LG Business Solutions Hall 12 Booth K90
A common theme running through LG’s offerings is scale. Vid- eoconferencing and presentations will now be more user-friendly to run thanks to the new LG 130” All-in-one LED display. The new display, known as the LAAF, is the solution to the modern challenge of multiple conferencing devices that are connected by webs of cabling and require an expert for set-up and use. The LAAF offers a sleek appearance, unparalleled meeting experience and easy use.
The LAAF was designed to dazzle. The large screen looks lus-
trous and modern in its thin frame. Its multiple mounting options ensure it harmonises with any décor. The onscreen image is even more entrancing. The HDR10 picture is unmarred by bezels, al- lowing viewers to focus solely on what’s being displayed, whether it’s a PowerPoint or a videoconference. In fact, the whole meeting experience offered by the LAAF is im- mersive. The picture quality is enhanced by vivid colours. Thanks
to the wide viewing angle, it is equally impactful for viewers all over the room. The LAAF doesn’t need additional speakers for dynamic audio, either. The display’s embedded surface sound system uses the entire screen to produce up to 162W, with 4.5W capability at 36 separate points. Enveloping sound and wide-an- gle viewing mean that participants can engage with the material, even in the largest and most crowded rooms.
The LAAF has multiple features that facilitate seamless long-dis- tance collaboration. The displays can be used for videoconferenc- ing, screen-sharing or presentations. It can even host multiple data streams simultaneously. Of course, these functionalities de- pend on the installation and platform or conferencing partner, which is why LG engineered the LAAF to work with most AV sys- tems. It was certified Creston Connected to mark its compatibility. Convenience is important for a conference room display. It doesn’t matter how fabulous the functionalities are if employees can’t use them without calling the IT department. That’s why LG developed an easy-to-use UI, especially for the menu. Switching sources, the bane of many a side-tracked meeting, was also made highly intuitive. For added convenience, the display is set to au- tomatically power on when it receives a video signal. The LAAF is easy to manage as well, with front accessibility for installation and maintenance. LG SuperSign CMS and Signage 365Care make it easy for busy customers to keep their displays running at their peak.
The LG 130” All-in-one LED can revolutionise the conference room. Its high-quality image and in-screen audio are reliable and durable. It’s easy UI allows collaborators to focus on the task at hand, wherever they are in the world. Scaling up even further, LG’s OLED Wallpaper improves on the previous model with a sleeker look and expanded hospitality capa- bilities. The WT980H follows the success of its OLED Wallpaper Hotel TV predecessor by improving on the features that made it so popular. Its new cordless appearance combines with the vividness of OLED to amaze guests. The current iterations of Pro:Centric
Scaling up even further, LG’s OLED Wallpaper improves on the previ- ous model with a sleeker look and expanded hospitality capabilities.
Smart and Pro:Centric Direct allow hoteliers to customise guest experience. Most importantly, the evolved IoT capabilities allow hoteliers to offer an experience that is truly a home away from home, even for the most avid tech user. In short, the new OLED Wallpaper Hotel TV from LG impresses with its appearance, im- age, management and IoT capabilities. The paper-thin screen seems to float on the wall like an ex- travagant work of art, even when it’s turned off. The AIO box is built to be mounted behind a false wall or tucked away, leaving the look unmarred by cords or a stand. The screen has no bezel, so the picture appears uninterrupted across the entire glass. The image itself enhances its setting. The vivid colours and true black of OLED’s self-light technology make content immersive. LG 4K Cinema HDR transforms watching a movie in a hotel room to a cinematic experience. It works with Dolby Vision and HDR10 for maximum compatibility. The new LG Colour Transparent LED Film turns any glass sur- face, from a commercial display window to the wall at corporate headquarters, into a display for video or images. The transparency of the film means that not only can goods be seen through the content, but also that designers won’t have to sacrifice ambient
