Stores in lockdown at town shopping centre

A STORE assistant has spoken of the horrifying moment a shop- ping centre went into lockdown as emergency services tried to talk a man down from a ledge. Business owners have fallen

“The emergency services were immediately informed and were on site. Access to the centre was temporarily suspended while the incident was dealt with and the individual received the necessary care. “The safety of our guests is

paramount, and we did all we can to support the emergency services on the ground. We would like to thank everyone for their under- standing.”
