We’re expanding – Cyprus, Mauritius…
...Maidenhead
Quantuma’s story has been one of ambition, growth and achievement of significant business milestones as we have executed our business strategy, writes Marie Wadeson, director of marketing, Quantuma
Managing partner Carl Jackson established Quantuma in January 2013. Back then it was Jackson, a couple of team members and a standing start, based out of a small office in Southampton. Fast forward to the summer of 2019 and the firm couldn’t look any more different.
Having grown rapidly through our heartlands – the Solent and the Thames Valley, we now have fourteen offices across the UK. With revenues of over £20 million forecast for the current year, today we employ some of the most exciting talent in the business advisory field, employing over 180 staff.
In 2018, we began to realise some of our more strategic ambitions further afield. In July 2018, we opened the doors to our first overseas office in Nicosia, Cyprus, where today, our growing team are widely regarded as one of the leading providers of business advisory services on the island. We also opened an office in Paphos earlier this year, to house our growing team of hospitality and leisure sector specialists.
And almost a year to the date later in July 2019, we entered into a joint venture with a like-minded business in Mauritius. Why Mauritius? Well, it is fast becoming regarded as the leading offshore financial centre for the continent of Africa – and strategically, this sits well with the work of our teams in Cyprus and London.
Closer to home and just as exciting for us, is our very recent expansion into Maidenhead, as we renew our commitment to our heartlands, the Thames Valley.
Maidenhead makes our UK office count 15 and we are excited to be able to expand our business advisory offering further into the Thames Valley. But why Maidenhead? Strategically, it is an important location for us. We have large existing offices in Marlow, Watford and London, but Maidenhead brings us something different. A new, modern and flexible way of working for our team, allowing them to better service our client base throughout the Thames Valley where we have experienced significant demand for our corporate finance, forensic accounting and expert witness and advisory services over the last 18 months.
Our expansion into Maidenhead brings Quantuma closer to the heart of the Thames Valley business community and our ever-expanding network of professionals in the region.
Maidenhead itself is undergoing a transformation and its economy is booming thanks to the numerous regeneration projects underway, not to mention the eagerly anticipated arrival of Crossrail, which will allow enhanced transport links into London and beyond.
The opportunities to attract new talent in our growing team from our base in Maidenhead is also an exciting prospect for us. We have ambitious plans for our firm, and we need ambitious talent to help us achieve this.
Now our team have settled into our new base in the Siena Building, partners Ian Barton, Frank Wessely and Chris Newell look forward to welcoming you soon.
