BOOK ‘EM, DANO Dear Buffalo, Thank you for another outstanding
issue of KUDZOO. I especially enjoyed the excerpt from your book The Road Goes On Forever. So much so I immediately went over to Amazon and ordered a copy. I wish there was some way to have you sign my book. It’s one of the best I ever read. I grew up a fan of the Brothers and will go to my grave a fan. In fact, I have a special urn for my ashes that is engraved with a peach and the band logo!

Dear John: (Never written a “dear John” letter before!) Being on the other side of the country, our paths may never cross, but I want to thank you for your kind words. If you decided to attend the grand re-opening of Capricorn Studios in December, I’ll be there and more than happy to sign the book. Eat a peach for peace. - Buffalo
SOUTHERN ROCK HALL OF FAME Dear Michael, Why is there not a Southern Rock Hall
of Fame & Museum in Jacksonville? I would think by now you would have built one! After all, I donated $10 to the cause! I know a lot of people donated to see it happen. I have a collection of Civil War memorabilia I’d be happy to loan to the museum. What gives?
Billy T., Jax
Billy. Thank you for your letter and thank you again for your donation. You’re right,
ten bucks should be enough to open a million dollar facility, pay the staff, the utilities and other overhead. You may be interested to know that all of the funds raised went to- ward legal fees and lawyers to make us a non-profit. Then my immediate staff all lost interest and bailed, as well as my primary investor. The primary reason was that in the politically correct 2000’s, Southern Rock is looked upon by many as rebel flag waving redneck trash and racists. It’s an uphill bat- tle, but I keep preaching that the music is not defined by any one group of people. As for your civil war stuff, it belongs on a mu- seum at Gettysburg, and has zero to do with Southern rock. But thanks. The Hall of Fame lives online now (Just go to
michaelbuffalo.net and click on Southern Rock Hall of Fame) until which time we can get a backer for the brick and mortar build- ing.
Sincerely, Michael Buffalo
THE BIG QUESTION Dear Kudzoo, What is the meaning of life?
Terrance Johnson, Somewhere in Texas
Terrance, Life is a nebulous web of existential freedom.
