Yes, as a matter of fact. I just finished work- ing with Paul Hornsby on his memoir, Fix it in the Mix. Lots of good stories! That will be out in 2020. Charlie Daniels is writing the foreword. And I am finishing up a big book of interviews that are not Southern Rock re- lated. They are classic rocker from the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s and 80’s. People like Delaney & Bonnie, Peter Frampton, George Harrison, Ted Nugent, Kansas, just tons of interviews that span 25 years.

Sounds interesting. I am also writing fiction- as book of short sto- ries, a couple of novels and a couple of screenplays. Lots of writing.

original songs produced by Billy Eli and Jim Hemphill. Billy played some guitar as did aJim. Joey on bass. Michael McGeary (Jerry Jeff Walker) killed on drums. So the album and the EP are kind of it for a while. I’m gonna focus more on writing for a while. Of course, I still have some ideas I’d like to ex- press in the studio as well.

I heard you are planning on attending the big Capricorn Records opening De- cember 3. By all means. I understand I will be signing books with my buddy Willie Perkins. Very ex- citing seeing that property refurbished. It’s living history. Macon is really on the upswing.

I wish you continued success, Buffalo. Thank you for your time. Anytime, man.•

Any new recording? The last albums I did were Makin it Back to Macon (2018) and The Austin Sessions (2017).Macon was produced by Paul Hornsby who also played Wurlitzer electric piano; and Tommy Talton (Cowboy/ Gregg Allman band), along with EG Kight on vocals, Towson Engsberg on drums, Joey Parrish on bass, Daniel Jackson on acoustic guitar and backing vocals and Billy Eli on acoustic gui- tar. Before that, I grabbed my buddy Joey Parrish (Silver Travis Band) and flew out to Austin Texas where I recorded an ep of four
