Tony Hadley is probably one of the nicest guys you’ll meet from the world of showbiz. With a solo career spanning far longer than his Spandau Ballet years, he’s as popular today as he was when he first hit the scene with that powerful voice of his. Having met Tony on several occasions, it was great to catch up with him to talk about his upcoming gig at Lichfield Cathedral as part of his work as Patron of the Lichfield Festival. We talked about life after Spandau, his connections to Lichfield and touched on some of the momentous events he’s been part of, including Band Aid. Down to earth despite his fame and burgeoning career, the music industry is most certainly a better place for having Tony Hadley as part of it.
